Our nutrition education program helps participants to understand the value of good nutrition. Nutrition plays a significant part in the overall wellness of your body, mind and emotions. Food is where we all receive nutrients to keep our bodies in optimal health. Our workshops will cover all the topics to help the participants make the best food choices to live a life of health and wellness. We also provide practical steps that can be implemented immediately to effect the change participants want to see in their body.

Erica Marie Soto

The Gibbons Family Fitness Art Director Erica Soto, is a NY based artist who has been creating mixed media art for 17 years. During the summer months she spent her time as an art camp facilitator and coordinator in charge of ordering supplies, creating a camp curriculum and lesson plans. She has experience scheduling various creative expressions lessons based on need, skill level, budget and time restrictions. She has also had experience working with adult special needs groups and families of special needs children to accommodate an art project suitable to their skill level as well ensuring a sensory friendly atmosphere. She has been working with New York City’s Be Well initiative that focuses on mental health for the past year providing successful online creative expressions workshops to all city agencies to provide an outlet for stress and an entrance for peace through art.

Gelayne Blyden is passionate about education. She is dually certified to teach
childhood education and students with disabilities ( in grades 1-6). She continues to
educate others by creating articles for her personal blog on financial literacy:
GelayneMoneyTalks.com and by conducting creative writing courses for adults and
students in the 5th-7th grade.
Neubela M. Allison is a local Career Coach, Recruiter, and the Founder of Career Relations
Network. With over 20 years of experience as a HR Professional and Job Developer in various
corporate, academic and grant funded settings she has strategically helped organizations to hire
the best and job seekers to get hired. She obtained her bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in
Business Administration from Utica College of Syracuse University and has enhanced her
education by completing additional courses in Strategic Interviewing and HR practices. She has
extensive experience partnering with organizations and schools to to facilitate job placements,
and to provide practical trainings for teens and young adults to gain confidence in interviewing,
securing jobs, and thriving in the workforce.
