Our nutrition education program helps participants to understand the value of good nutrition. Nutrition plays a significant part in the overall wellness of your body, mind and emotions. Food is where we all receive nutrients to keep our bodies in optimal health. Our workshops will cover all the topics to help the participants make the best food choices to live a life of health and wellness. We also provide practical steps that can be implemented immediately to effect the change participants want to see in their body.
Hi! I am Tarsha Gibbons, the founder of Gibbons Family Fitness. I am a wife, mom, entrepreneur, businesswoman and fitness professional. My understanding of fitness came when my dad gifted me a membership to Bally‘s Gym for my 18th birthday. At that time, I was in college and overweight(I am partial to a honey bun). I started going to the gym and it was terrible at first but I kept at it. Working out made me feel empowered. It quickly became a part of my lifestyle.
After a 12-year career in law enforcement, I was blessed to have my son and that is when everything changed. I decided to quit my job and honestly, I had no clue where I was headed next. But I trusted that God would help me. I had a friend who owned a wellness company that asked me to help her out. I worked with her for about three years teaching children physical fitness, nutrition, and healthy cooking.
This is how Gibbons Family Fitness was founded. I began to see this as more than just a fitness business because I would be helping people to show up as their best selves in the world and accomplish their goals. When you’re healthy everything else seems manageable, doable, and possible.
Gibbons Family Fitness has been touching so many lives it still amazes me. Our team has helped create health and wellness programs for individuals, families, community outreach organizations, schools, faith-based organizations, government agencies and corporations. The goal is to educate participants about adopting a healthy lifestyle and learning how to maintain it.

Mary Anne Scrobe has been teaching and training a variety of classes to all age groups for
over 30 years. Specialty Certifications include cancer exercise specialist, Pilates, cycling, and
all types of senior classes. When she’s not teaching, she loves to hike, horseback ride and
spend time with her grandkids!
Roshi is a certified personal trainer, Pilates, Barre and Yoga Instructor. As a certified group fitness instructor, she has taught a variety of class formats, from boot camp and spinning to TRX and BOSU. She has trained individuals and groups of all ages, from student athletes to older adults with physical limitations in a variety of settings.
I’m Nationally Certified as a Master Personal Trainer & Group Exercise Instructor with NFPT, NESTA, ACE, AFFA, Silver Sneakers & TRX since 2006.I love traveling with my wife Rebecca, fitness training, mountains, running, biking, hiking, animals and meeting people
I'm the fitness Instructor for the Cardio-Kickboxing. It's an energetic workout that challenges everyone from beginner to the more advanced.
I'm Ilana, and I live in the energetic city of New York, NY. I've been a Zumba Instructor and ZIN™ Member since 2018 and I absolutely love teaching Zumba because every class feels like a party! My teaching and training background is in competitive Ballroom Dance and Martial Arts. I'm excited to meet you at one of my classes!

I am an injured retired Registered Nurse teaching fitness classes to help people with disabilities, injuries or just new to working out ease back into a fitness regiment geared to maintain or restore their health.
I am an AFAA group fitness instructor, and ZIN licensed instructor since 2010. I absolutely love teaching Fitness and Zumba classes. I've been teaching HIT, Strong, Stretching, SOCA and other formats from 2010 as well.
Shamsun has been teaching group fitness classes over a decade throughout the tri-state area. She holds certifications in Zumba, BollyX, Kids, GroupX, Silver Sneakers, etc. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and experience levels, and helping them achieve their fitness goals.
I've been a ZIN™ Member since Jun 2011 and I absolutely love teaching Zumba classes. I have a Musical Theater background, with 17 years professional show business experience. I also have a B.F.A from Marymount Manhattan College, New York, NY, and am CPR Certified.
